Sunflower Field

Use bright yellow and orange for the sunflower heads to capture the typical warmth. The flower centers work perfectly in brown or dark ocher. For the field behind, choose different shades of green—from light green in the foreground to muted green in the distance to create depth. The sky can be soft light blue or soft pink. Use sight lines and movement lines between the stems to guide the eye to the horizon and emphasize the endless field character. Try shading on the leaves to create volume.
